toplist is a service for making, ranking, and sharing lists of anything.

You need to sign in only to save lists, follow people, or interact socially. We collect your email address for authentication and a @username you choose. That's it — no real name, no phone number, no address.

You must be at least 13 years old to use toplist. One person per account. You're responsible for what happens on your account.

Don't use toplist for:

• harassment, hate speech, or threats
• spam, scams, or bulk automated posting
• illegal content or activity
• impersonating someone else
• content that infringes someone's copyright or trademark
• sexual content involving minors — zero tolerance, immediate ban

We can remove lists or accounts that break these rules, at our discretion. Reporting flow is coming soon — for now, if you see something serious, hang tight; a report path will be added before wider launch.

You own the lists you create. By posting a list publicly on toplist, you grant toplist a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and share it within the app and its public web pages. Private lists stay private.

You can delete any list at any time. Deleting a list removes it from public view; cached copies (search engines, social previews) may take some time to disappear.

When you create a list, toplist uses AI to suggest the candidate options. These suggestions can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. They are not endorsements or statements of fact — treat them as a starting point and edit as you like.

• Email address — used only for sign-in and account recovery. Not shown publicly.
• @username — public. Shown on your profile and next to your lists.
• Your lists — public unless you mark them private.
• Follows — who you follow and who follows you is public.

We do not use third-party analytics, ad networks, or tracking pixels today. If that changes, we'll update this page and let users know before turning it on.

toplist only uses essential cookies — the ones required to keep you signed in. We don't use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. Under EU and California rules, essential cookies don't need a consent banner, so we don't show one.

You can delete your account from your profile settings. Deleting your account removes your profile, your lists, your follows, and your email from our records. Some backups may persist for a short retention window before being purged.

toplist is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate. To the fullest extent allowed by law, toplist is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your use of the service.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.

A contact email for legal, privacy, and abuse reports is coming soon. This page will be updated when it's live.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of toplist after changes means you accept them.
